FiveM: Steam authentication failed HTTP 403 (Fix)

If you’re experiencing an “Authentication Failed – HTTP 403” error when trying to connect to a FiveM server through Steam, it could be due to a few different issues. Most likely your server doesn’t have a valid steam webapi key.

How to generate (and add) the key to your server

Go to this link: https://steamcommunity.com/login/home/?goto=%2Fdev%2Fapikey
Request the Steam Web API key
Put the key to your server.cfg on your FiveM server
